Terms of service

1. Publisher and services

Mini Miner is published by Nexow, Inc., a Delaware corporation, 2810 N Church St STE 89080, Wilmington, DE 19802, USA, contact: admin@nexow.ai. It provides free manual and in-browser mining on the live Bitcoin network, a free trial of automatic mode (unlimited 15-second demos and two 1-minute boosts), and a paid “Premium” option.

2. Account

Mining by hand and 15-second automatic demos can be tried without an account, with only a public Bitcoin address kept in the browser; using the service then means accepting these terms. Demos without an account are limited (a short pause between two demos and an hourly cap, counted by payout address and by IP address) and credit nothing to any account. An account is required for the 1-minute boosts, Premium, the history, achievements and the leaderboard; Premium cannot be purchased without an account. One account per person. Users must be of legal age to purchase. Mini Miner may suspend an account in case of abuse.

3. Nature of the paid service

Premium is lifetime access, for a one-time payment of USD 29, to software features of the account: automatic mining in the browser without a time limit, for as long as the tab is open; continuous sessions and timed sessions of any length (from 15 seconds to 1 hour, or a custom length); and the history page of automatic sessions, with its statistics. Sessions are also recorded for accounts without Premium and included in their data export. The computation runs on the customer’s own device, at their expense in electricity. Mini Miner sells neither bitcoin, nor hashrate, nor any chance of winning; it holds no funds or private keys and receives no block reward on the customer’s behalf. “Lifetime” means for as long as Mini Miner operates the service.

4. No promise of gain

The probability of finding a block at the device’s measured hashrate is shown before any payment, based on the current network difficulty. It is extremely low. Premium does not increase it: it only removes the time limit of automatic mode. The customer acknowledges that no gain is promised, that the service is neither an investment, nor a game of chance, nor a financial product, and that the expected outcome is, in the vast majority of cases, no gain at all.

5. Payment and reward

Payment is processed by Stripe. If a block is found, the reward is written into the block and paid by the Bitcoin network to the customer’s address, minus the fee of the pool solo.ckpool.org (2%). Mini Miner takes no part in that payment and can neither guarantee nor change it. The customer alone is responsible for the accuracy of their address.

6. Activation, refund and chargeback

Premium is activated on the account as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, and a confirmation email is sent with a link to the receipt. A promotion code may make Premium free: it is then offered, with no payment. A full refund, or a chargeback initiated by the customer, removes Premium from the account; if the chargeback is decided in Mini Miner’s favour, or if a refund fails, Premium is restored. Receipts, invoices and refund receipts are available in “My profile”, section Premium and purchases. Hashrate rentals purchased before this offer was withdrawn remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of purchase.

7. Right of withdrawal

The customer may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of purchasing Premium (the exact deadline, to the minute, is shown in “My profile”): from their profile, section Premium and purchases, they receive a full refund of the price, to the payment method used, and Premium is removed from their account at the same time. A confirmation email follows; the refund usually reaches the payment method within 5 to 10 business days. This withdrawal can be used once per account: a new purchase after a withdrawal opens no new period, unless the law provides otherwise. Premium offered with a promotion code involves no payment and therefore no refund. Mini Miner grants this right whether or not the law requires it, and does not ask the customer to waive it. After 14 days, the price is no longer refundable, unless the law provides otherwise.

8. Free trial

The 15-second demos of automatic mode are free and unlimited, subject to a short pause between two demos and an hourly cap intended to prevent automated abuse. Each account also receives two boosts of one minute, counted by the server. Creating several accounts to obtain more is an abuse within the meaning of section 2.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, subject to the mandatory consumer protections of the customer’s country of residence. The courts of Delaware have jurisdiction, except where the law allows a consumer, in particular in Switzerland, the European Union or the United Kingdom, to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
