Data processed

• Account: email address, Bitcoin payout address, free-trial counters (demos in the current hour, boosts left), Premium status and payment reference, blocks found and their status on the chain, history of automatic sessions (duration, hashes, average hashrate, best hash, number of hashes by count of leading zeros), history of manual mining (per day: number of attempts by hand, best hash and its leading zeros, counted by your browser), activity verified by the relay (proofs of work: hashes with at least 6 leading zeros found by your browser and recomputed by the relay; seconds of mining granted and continuous mining periods (start and end); best verified hash; best daily rank in the top 10), achievements earned and their date, time zone (set once, for time-of-day achievements), the advanced-info display preference, the choice to appear in the leaderboard, IP addresses of sensitive actions (audit log), Stripe customer identifier.
• Mining: the payout address is sent to the relay and to the pool as a mining identifier.
• Without an account (guest mode): the payout address you enter and the summary of your last 20 automatic sessions are kept only in your browser (cleared when you sign in to an account); the address is sent to the relay and the pool to build the block, as above. Mini Miner stores no account data for a guest. For the limits of the 15-second demos, the payout address and a salted fingerprint of the IP address (never the IP address itself) are counted for 2 hours, then deleted. The relay keeps technical logs (IP address, payout address) for as long as security and abuse prevention require.
• Payment: processed by Stripe; Mini Miner never sees card details. For each purchase, Mini Miner keeps its date, amount, status (paid, offered, refunded, disputed) and Stripe references (session, payment, invoice, refund, credit note), the language of the account and the date of a withdrawal.
• Emails: service emails about Premium (purchase, offered Premium, withdrawal, refund, dispute) are sent through Resend, which receives your email address and the content of the message (amount, dates, links). Mini Miner keeps a log of these emails (type, date, delivery status) so that none is sent twice. No marketing emails.

Public leaderboard

The leaderboard shows the 10 most active accounts, by verified mining time, best verified hash or estimated hashes. An account appears there only by its payout address in truncated form (for example bc1qdu4j…nc0a9xky), never by its email. A Bitcoin address is public on the blockchain. You can stop appearing at any time in “My profile”, Leaderboard section.

Purposes and legal bases

Performance of the contract (account, sessions, payment), fraud prevention (rate limiting, one address per account), legal obligations (accounting).

Processors

Supabase (authentication and database, hosted in Frankfurt, European Union), Stripe (payment), Resend (email), Fly.io (mining relay, Frankfurt), Vercel (site hosting), mempool.space (network statistics, no personal data), the mining pool solo.ckpool.org (receives the payout address).

Retention

Account, payout address, trials, session history, purchases and the email log: as long as the account exists, deleted with it (deletion from “My profile”). Blocks found: kept, detached from the account, as they are public chain data. Invoices and payment references: 10 years (accounting obligations). Per-minute share aggregates: 12 months. Audit log: 12 months. Proofs of work: 30 days; daily verified activity: as long as the account exists, deleted with it.
